Shield State

Overview

Shield State is a defensive effect family. It usually comes from Standard Shield, Reflector Shield, H.E.X Shield, I.C.E Shield, GODMODE and support shields.

In practice, it reduces, blocks, reflects or limits incoming damage. The key limit is that each shield family uses its own rules.

FAQ

Can this state be removed or avoided?

Negative states can often be removed by Cleanse or blocked by protection effects. Shield and buff states usually need timing, Shield Piercing, burst windows or waiting them out.

Should I read the item article too?

Yes. The state explains the active effect, while the item article gives level progression, costs, cooldown, ammunition and unlock requirements.
