What PvP Is
PvP is player-versus-player combat. It can happen in PvP Galaxies, Arena, Daily Events, Galaxy 666, Guild Wars and some contested map situations. The rules change by map, so always check the map article before assuming protection or revive behavior.
Winning PvP is not only about Damage. Range, Cooldowns, Ammunition, Shield Piercing, Critical Hits, Misses, Stun, Silence, Cleanse, Healing Mechanics, Shields and map protection rules all matter.
PvP Situations at a Glance
| PvP area | Main rule pressure | Preparation focus |
|---|---|---|
| PvP Galaxies | Open-map danger with protection depending on the galaxy. | Stock safety, escape routes and shield timing. |
| Arena | 1v1 duels with map restrictions and no revive inside. | Burst windows, cooldown discipline and clean defensive timing. |
| Galaxy 666 | Guild-focused map with flags and boss rewards. | Guild coordination, PvP builds and map awareness. |
| Guild Wars | Objective combat against guild structures and defenders. | Station planning, group roles and sustained pressure. |
| Daily Events | Scheduled formats with event-specific rules. | Read the event rules before choosing a loadout. |
How to Build for PvP
A good PvP build has a plan for both dealing damage and surviving the enemy plan. Attack, Precision and Critical help when your weapon can use them. Health, Shield Absorption, movement and Cleanse help you live long enough to use your cooldowns well.
Do not carry large Resources through dangerous maps without a reason. Player Looting and Stock Protection matter because a death can cost carried value, not only time.
Attack Validation, Safety and Death
A PvP action must be valid for the current map, target, range and protection state. Normal accuracy compares Precision with the target's Dodge unless the weapon cannot miss. An eligible critical hit doubles the normal result before the remaining weapon and protection rules are resolved. Shield-piercing weapons bypass ordinary absorption but do not bypass invulnerability or an invalid target.
Safe areas and temporary protections stop attacks only while their conditions remain active. Entering combat, attacking or using selected offensive actions can remove protection. Some maps disable normal safety rules completely, so check the map description before carrying valuable resources.
On normal galaxy and boss-map PvP deaths, the destroyed player can drop 5% of carried Uranium and half of each carried Crystal, Plutonium, Deuterium and Iridium amount unless Stock protection prevents the resource loss. The loot is briefly reserved for the player credited with the final hit before becoming generally collectible. Arena, quest, dungeon and event modes can use their own death and reward rules instead.
Repair, Revive and Cooldown Discipline
At zero Health the ship is destroyed. Normal repair returns the player at a valid location with a small amount of Health; premium revive returns at the same location fully repaired. Repair equipment, healing and life steal cannot raise Health above its current maximum.
A successful weapon or equipment action starts its own cooldown and may also be blocked by active time, a shared family restriction, Stun, Silence or the map's rules. Do not judge a PvP build only by its largest hit: ammunition, cooldown overlap, range, accuracy and escape options decide whether that hit can be repeated safely.
FAQ
Why did my attack do nothing?
Range, safe areas, PvP protection, dodge, shields or map rules may have blocked or reduced the hit.
What is the safest PvP practice mode?
Arena teaches duel timing, but open-map PvP teaches positioning, escape routes and resource risk.
Should I use all cooldowns at once?
Usually no. Good PvP timing means forcing enemy shields first, then using burst or control when their answers are down.
