What Special Missions Are
Special Missions are chained objectives created for Arena, Battlemap, Big Daddy and World Cup. They are pinned automatically and expire with the event session.
Mission Chains
A chain starts at stage 1. Completing a stage creates the next one automatically when more than five minutes remain in the event.
Arena

| Every stage | Take part in 1 + 2 × stage Arena fights: 3 fights at stage 1, 5 at stage 2, 7 at stage 3, and so on. |
Battlemap
| Stage | Task |

| Stage 1 | Enter the Battlemap once. |
| Even stages | Win a number of rounds equal to the stage: 2 rounds at stage 2, 4 at stage 4, and so on. |
| Odd stages from stage 3 | Earn 15 + 10 × stage PvP Points in the event: 45 at stage 3, 65 at stage 5, and so on. |
Big Daddy

| Stage 1 | Enter the Big Daddy event once. |
| Even stages | Deal damage to Big Daddy. The target increases with the stage and the game's current maximum level. |
| Odd stages from stage 3 | Earn 15 + 10 × stage PvP Points in the event. |
World Cup

| Stage 1 | Enter the World Cup once. |
| Even stages | Score a number of goals equal to the stage: 2 goals at stage 2, 4 at stage 4, and so on. |
| Odd stages from stage 3 | Earn 15 + 10 × stage PvP Points in the event. |
Rewards
Battlemap, Big Daddy and World Cup use the same base reward: 100 Void Shards and 1 hour of research time, multiplied by the stage number. Arena uses 150 Void Shards and 1 hour 30 minutes of research time, multiplied by the player's Arena league reward tier rather than by the chain stage.
Timing and Actions
Special Missions can be read, pinned, unpinned and claimed. They cannot be switched, cancelled or finished instantly. An unfinished mission expires at the end of its event. Claim finished stages promptly so the next stage can be created before the final five minutes.
FAQ
Why did the next stage not appear?
The event had five minutes or less remaining, or another stage for that event was already active.
Can I keep the mission after the event?
No. It expires with that event session.
