What a Rift Is
A Rift is a temporary portal-style encounter. When it opens, Rift Worms appear and players can fight them for rewards. The next rift can scale with participation, so active groups can make the encounter more rewarding.
Rift Flow
| Step | What happens | Player focus |
|---|---|---|
| Rift opens | A temporary portal encounter appears. | Move quickly and group nearby players. |
| Worms spawn | Rift Worms appear around the encounter. | Use PvE damage and avoid wasting Ammunition. |
| Participation grows | More attackers can influence future spawns. | Coordinate with Groups or guildmates. |
| Rewards drop | Eligible players collect rewards. | Watch Stock and ownership rules. |
How to Play Rifts
Rifts are best with multiple pilots who can kill quickly and stay close enough to finish waves. A PvE Kit, Ammunition Kit and strong Weapons can help if the group plans to chain several rifts.
FAQ
Are Rift Worms normal galaxy monsters?
No. They are temporary encounter monsters and should be treated as a special PvE opportunity.
Is a Rift better solo or grouped?
Grouped play is usually better because the activity rewards repeated participation and faster clears.
