Global Event #1: Big Daddy Opens the Test Server

🚀 Global Event #1

For the very first time, the Nova Raider Test Server will open to everyone through a Global Event.

This new format is designed to test how the game handles a larger number of connections while giving players access to a special event before the official release.

Global Event #1 will take place on Sunday, July 17, 2022, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM CEST.

🎯 Introducing Global Events

Global Events are special custom events available during test phases.

Each Global Event introduces a dedicated activity, specific rewards, and new ways for players to help test Nova Raider before release.

A new Global Event is planned every few weeks.

👑 Global Event #1: Big Daddy

To launch this new format, Global Event #1 will feature one of the most popular event modes: Big Daddy.

For the first time, Big Daddy will last 60 minutes.

Players will use inter-server ships with all weapons and shields available at level 21.

The event will also help test performance, stability, and gameplay during a larger public session.

🕒 Event Schedule

The event will be divided into three parts:

• -3:00 PM to 4:00 PM: The Warm-Up on Galaxy 91
• -4:00 PM to 5:00 PM: Big Daddy Event
• -5:00 PM to 6:00 PM: The Afterparty on Galaxy 91

During The Warm-Up, players will be able to farm gems on Galaxy 91.

During Big Daddy, players must use the Event Building, prepare their gems, and climb the ranking.

During The Afterparty, players can show their PvP skills on Galaxy 91.

🏆 Big Daddy Rules

Players must use the Event Building between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM to access the event.

Killing the Big Daddy makes you become the Big Daddy.

Points are earned as follows:

• -2,000 Event Points every 60 seconds while holding Big Daddy
• -1 Event Point for every 100 damage dealt to the Big Daddy holder
• -If a player holds Big Daddy for 180 seconds, it will respawn somewhere else on the map

⚔️ PvP Rules

PvP points are also active during the full event period.

• -+2 PvP Points for each player killed
• --1 PvP Point for each death

🎁 Rewards

Big Daddy Leaderboard rewards:

• -1st place: 3 Rubies
• -2nd place: 2 Rubies
• -3rd place: 2 Rubies
• -4th place: 1 Ruby
• -5th place: 1 Ruby

PvP Leaderboard rewards:

• -1st place: 3 Rubies
• -2nd place: 2 Rubies
• -3rd place: 2 Rubies
• -4th place: 1 Ruby
• -5th place: 1 Ruby

💎 Ruby Exchange Desk

Rubies can be exchanged for several rewards:

• -1 Ruby = 1 Test Server Access
• -1 Ruby = 1 Premium Ship Access for Global Event #2
• -1 Ruby = 100 Bug-Report Points

Test Server Access and Premium Ship Access can be gifted to friends.

Bug-Report Points cannot be gifted.

📝 Registration

Registration was required to participate in Global Event #1.

The event was limited to the first 50 registered players for performance reasons.

Registrations are now full with 50 out of 50 players registered.

🎥 Videos and Testing

The event may be recorded and posted on YouTube.

Staff members may also participate for recording, testing, and bug checking.

Their ranking points will be removed at the end of the event.

📌 Test Phase Reminder

Global Events remain part of the test phase.

Dates and conditions may change if technical issues occur. These events are an important step toward preparing Nova Raider for release.
