What Defense Does
Defense is an advanced main research. Improve this ability in order to unlock higher level defense equipment.
Why It Matters
Defense matters because it is checked by item unlocks. When an item row lists this research, your research level must meet that requirement in addition to the player level requirement.
Linked unlocks include Shield buff and Standard shield.
Progression Table
This table lists every research level currently reachable before the player-level requirement passes level 75. Time is shown as DDd HH:MM:SS when it lasts at least one day, or HH:MM:SS below one day.

FAQ
Should I always research the next level?
Not always. Start the next level when it unlocks something useful, improves your current activity, or solves a clear limitation. Otherwise, another research may give faster progress.
Why does the table stop where it does?
The table stops when the next research level would require a player level above 75.
