NumberOneNR
👋 Hello everyone,
Today, we want to share an overview of the upcoming months of Nova Raider development.
🎺 A brand-new event is coming...
- -The Easter event will continue until June 10th, while the summer event will begin on August 1st.
- -To help you wait, we’re sharing a teaser image fresh from our studios. Several elements are still in development, and we hope to release the update on June 10th.
- -Can you guess the theme of this event? We’d love to hear your theories.
⚔️ Guild Wars: Where are we now?
We’ve received a lot of feedback regarding the Guild Wars update, and we want to thank you for taking the time to share it.
- -This feedback has already led to several balancing adjustments and has also highlighted some concerns, particularly regarding the game’s social dynamics.
- -You’ve probably noticed that we’re conducting more surveys than before. This isn’t by chance: we’re trying to understand precisely what you like, what bothers you, and what deserves to be kept or revised.
- -However, we feel we don’t yet have enough perspective or definitive feedback.
We therefore encourage you to continue sharing your thoughts in the dedicated channel. Today, we’re asking ourselves an important question:
- -Should we keep the current system, revert to the old one, or build a compromise between the two?
- -Completely reverting to the old system would mean losing more than a month’s work, but we’re not ruling it out if it turns out to be the best decision for the game.
- -Before any final decision is made, more time will be allocated to test the current system, and an official survey will be conducted.
- -Only one thing will be required: always explain why.
👉 If you propose improvements or a hybrid system, these must absolutely prevent feeding, voluntary point donation, and multi-accounting.
🚀 2026 Goal: Out-of-Beta Release
Our ambition remains unchanged:
- -Release Nova Raider from its beta phase this year.
- -Begin active communication for the first time
- -French video game conventions.
Without communication, the game currently receives over 100 new registrations each month. Yet, many players still quit between levels 1 and 40. We are currently considering a different approach:
- -Temporarily start new players around level 50.
- -Welcome them directly into the most active environment of the game.
- -Offer them a tailored tutorial.
- -Lend them certain setups during PvP events.
- -Develop more planned PvP events.
The goal is simple: to quickly populate the higher levels and recreate consistent activity.
We would like to know your opinion on this direction.
Furthermore, level 75 is currently scheduled for release in about a month.
🧭 Roadmap and Constructive Suggestions
For the first time, we’re revealing part of our roadmap in advance, allowing you to directly participate in upcoming important decisions about the game. We’re looking for constructive suggestions, not just quick ideas.
The topics open for suggestions are:
- -Potential start for new players at level 50: adapted tutorial, integration into the most populated garage in the game, G7, structured progression, and ways to make the first steps clearer; then level 40; then level 30, when the maps are crowded.
- -Weapon and shield skins: available around July/August in the seasons. We need ideas for integrating skins despite the basic and upgraded versions, transitioning to a clearer system, and giving beginners incentives to keep and upgrade their equipment.
- -Support from max-level players for new players: reward systems, shared objectives, mentoring, events, or mechanics that encourage high-level players to help new players.
- -New weapons, equipment, their concepts, and which class they should belong to. We can design them more easily now; we just need more inspiration.
- -Bundles in the in-game shop that you might want to buy with real money, such as a hobby bundle for €3.99 or a weekend kit for €3.99. Some bundles will be added, but we want to give you the opportunity to choose their contents.
- -Titles and achievements.
- -A cosmetic base for your end-game Squadron Statue with progression.
A sink to spend all available in-game currency at level 75.
Rewards linked to this end-game currency sink.
- -New daily PvP events.
Rewards for the best contributions:
- -5,000 stars for the most well-developed suggestion for each theme.
- -1,000 stars for players who provide sufficient feedback, votes, and constructive opinions on this announcement.
- -1,000 stars for players who provide sufficient constructive feedback on Guild Clash, including what they like about the old and new systems.
- -The best suggestion across all categories will receive the skin shown below, as well as a seasonal kit.
👉 Until 21/06/2026
The goal is simple and new: to move forward with you, based on feedback that is precise enough to be truly actionable.
✨ Major projects for the end of the year
We are currently working on three large-scale projects.
- -A new adventure up to level 100 is in development. Created in collaboration with our graphic designer, it will introduce a brand-new environment and new visuals.
We are also working on a project that started a few years ago: a creative spin-off accessible from level 75.
- -The goal is to create a Minecraft-like system, supported by a very sophisticated tool designed to help players learn to code.
- -With this system, players would be able to easily create their own servers, maps, weapon, shield and ship stats, and scenarios in half a day, with or without coding skills. We would also like to involve a school or university in this project.
- -The objective is to allow players to participate in community-inspired universes outside of the main server.
Finally, we are working on a 4K remaster of the game.
- -Interfaces, ships, and custom ship skins will be progressively modernized.
- -This is also the most expensive project. We are not ruling out the possibility of implementing specific community support when the time is right.
We want to improve our communication and share our development vision more widely.
Thank you to everyone who takes the time to test, critique, suggest, and keep Nova Raider alive.
We’ll be back soon with more information, hopefully each month.
