Source Code Rework Progress and Migration Update

🚀 Fixes and Migration

The latest technical update is now complete, and server work has continued to progress well over the past few weeks.

This update includes another major step toward the final version of Nova Raider’s source code, along with a new database migration and several internal changes.

🛠️ Internal Changes and Migration

Preparations for the final version of the source code are now 90% complete.

A large amount of internal source code has been modified again, which may cause issues in some parts of the game.

The areas most likely to be affected include:

• -Rankings
• -Reactor management
• -Research, including main and reactor research
• -Weapons and shields, including purchases and equipment
• -Ships, including main ships and skins
• -Shooting and ammo
• -Drones

A database migration has also taken place as part of this update.

⚡ Faster Rankings

The rankings loading speed has been significantly improved.

This should make ranking pages faster and more comfortable to use.

🐞 Bug Reports

Players are encouraged to report any bugs in the dedicated bug report space.

Reports will be especially useful in the areas affected by the latest source code changes.

⚠️ Exploit Reminder

Any use of bugs or cheating considered hard-cheating will be severely punished, including with an immediate permanent ban.

If you find a bug, report it instead of using it.

📦 Next Steps

There are still 1 or 2 internal source code updates or migrations left to complete.

Once the server source code rework reaches 100%, the long-awaited Quality of Life update listing will be revealed.

Thanks to the new structure, these improvements should then be added much more quickly.

Thank you all for your patience and dedication.
