New Galaxy 7, Time Savers and Powerful Gems

A mysterious discovery has opened the way to several major additions in Nova Raider.

While exploring newly discovered galaxies, our first pilots found a strange chip marked with the serial number 7M-TS-L6G-2E-50.

After several investigations, this chip revealed new technologies, a new galaxy, strange relics, powerful materials, and new gameplay opportunities.

⏳ Time Savers

Researchers have identified the meaning of “TS” in the chip code: Time Savers.

These ancient relics take the form of tickets and allow players to fast-forward research time once used.

Different Time Savers contain different amounts of energy:

• -White Time Saver: 15 minutes
• -Orange Time Saver: 8 hours
• -Red Time Saver: 24 hours

For safety reasons, storage is currently limited:

• -100x 15-minute Time Savers
• -5x 8-hour Time Savers
• -1x 24-hour Time Saver

Players will be able to increase these limits through future research.

🌌 New Galaxy 7 Discovered

The chip also contained coordinates leading to a new galaxy.

Reconnaissance patrols brought back rare materials from this area, allowing engineers to improve the tech tree and prepare new equipment for the garages.

This galaxy also contains a strange red building that appears to allow access to another unknown area through a hyperspace jump.

🏗️ New Battle Station Bonuses

This galaxy has strong strategic value for research.

Building battle stations there may provide major bonuses:

• -B71: between 5% and 15% reduced research time
• -B72: between 5% and 15% reduced Uranium cost for main research

These bonuses make the new galaxy an important location for progression and long-term development.

🚩 New Boss Flag Mechanic

Further exploration revealed a special boss-like galaxy filled with galactic debris and flag points.

Flags activate when pilots move close to them, and the number of flags controlled by a guild affects the rewards obtained when the monster is defeated.

Observed rewards include:

• -0, 1, or 2 flags: 100% chance to receive Uranium and guild points
• -3 flags: 80% chance to receive an additional 2400-second time capsule
• -4 flags: 60% chance to receive an additional 15-minute Time Saver
• -5 flags: 10% chance to receive an additional 8-hour Time Saver

The monster also seems to return faster when ships are destroyed in the galaxy.

For now, this is the only known way to obtain Time Savers.

⚽ World Cup Event

After many expeditions into unknown territory, pilots will also be able to take part in a lighter event: the World Cup.

The rules are simple:

• -One ball
• -Two teams
• -Score as many goals as possible

This galactic football event has been adapted to Nova Raider and offers players a new way to compete while waiting for the next discoveries.

💎 New Gems and Extra Power

The rare materials found in the new galaxy have also allowed engineers to develop stronger and more compact gems.

These new gems release more energy than previous versions and will help players power their ships more effectively.

Players will also be able to carry one additional gem on board, opening new possibilities for ship builds and progression.
