New Sanction Points System for Game Rule Violations

📢 Important Announcement — Sanction Points System

Nova Raider is activating the new sanction points system that was presented a few months ago.

For now, this system only applies to sanctions related to bans.

The goal is to make penalties clearer, more consistent, and easier to apply when repeated rule violations occur.

🧩 How Previous Bans Are Handled

All previous bans that were fully applied and not lifted by a moderator are now included in the point calculation.

For the migration, previous sanctions are added as follows:

• -Hard cheating: all bans = 5 points
• -Soft cheating: cheating bans of 1 month or less = 2 points
• -Soft cheating: other bans of 1 month or less = 1 point

For this migration, the maximum balance from previous sanctions is capped at 4 points out of 5.

Existing sanctions remain active. If a player is already banned, they will remain banned regardless of their current point balance.

No new sanctions are being applied today. The system will only affect future repeat offenses from the date of this announcement.

🎫 Checking Your Point Balance

Players can check their current point balance by submitting a ticket to the staff.

This information will become directly accessible in the coming months.

⚠️ Early Implementation Notice

This system is being introduced a little earlier than initially planned.

While waiting for the website redesign, ban reports submitted through tickets will be processed with extra caution.

A significant amount of evidence will be required before any sanction is applied.

Reports based only on assumptions will be rejected automatically if we do not yet have the necessary internal information to verify them.

🛠️ Points System

Soft cheating bans:

• -1 point: macros or software that does not directly affect the game
• -2 points: ban-able use involving currency or transfers
• -3 points: illegal PvP, in-game advantage, or bug exploitation
• -4 points: account theft

Hard cheating bans:

• -5 points: bots, endpoint modification, currency duplication, or software affecting the game

⏳ Sanction Duration by Total Points

The duration of a sanction depends on the total number of accumulated points:

• -1 point = 1 day ban
• -2 points = 1 week ban
• -3 points = 1 month ban and -15% account researches
• -4 points = 3 months ban and -30% account researches
• -5 points = permanent ban

⚠️ Important Reminder

If an infraction falls into multiple categories, the highest point value will apply.

The examples listed above are not exhaustive. Any action considered harmful or contrary to the rules may result in a penalty, even if it is not explicitly mentioned.

A public voice discussion was recently held on Discord with several players.

This discussion helped clarify recent penalties and gather feedback and suggestions for future improvements.

🐞 Bug Reports and Suggestions

Players are reminded to report bugs through the dedicated bug report space.

If a bug should not be exposed publicly, a ticket can be submitted instead.

Suggestions should also be posted in the dedicated suggestion space.

Messages posted elsewhere, such as main chat or private messages, may not be saved and could be lost.
