Community Update: Communication, PvP and Project Roadmap

👋 Hello everyone,

A lot has happened recently, and we have not communicated enough about it.

First of all, we apologize for the lack of responsiveness. Several internal changes and availability constraints slowed down our organization and delayed communication with the community.

This update is here to clarify the current situation, explain what is coming next, and give a clearer view of the project’s direction.

🧭 Community Management Update

Following recent internal changes, the community manager role has been reorganized.

The role will not remain vacant. Communication between the staff and the community will continue, with the goal of rebuilding trust and keeping players more regularly informed about the project, updates, and important decisions.

More announcements are planned in the future, either weekly or every two weeks depending on the amount of information to share.

We also want to rely more on community feedback through polls and discussions, especially when the staff needs opinions or additional information before making decisions.

🚀 Project Status

Nova Raider is still actively moving forward.

The project is not on hold.

A major update is currently in preparation, mainly focused on PvP. Teasers are expected around mid-July.

A large amount of code refactoring has also been done to allow future developments. Because of this, new bugs may appear, and we apologize in advance if that happens.

Players are encouraged to report any issues they encounter.

⚔️ Upcoming PvP Update

The upcoming update will introduce something completely new.

Some players believed the in-game teaser was related to dungeons because of the flags shown in the image, but this is not the case.

This update is not the dungeon feature.

It will focus primarily on PvP, but it will not ignore PvE players. There will be more than PvP in the update, and a major PvE update is planned to be teased around mid-August.

Dungeons are still planned, and the team is preparing something special for them.

🏟️ Arena and Battles

The arena is not very populated at the moment and is not the current priority, but we already have a clearer idea of what we want to do with it in the future.

A small change will arrive in the next update: ICE will be banned in arena only.

This is being done to prevent abusive configurations and anti-game behavior.

For battles, the respawn bug should also be fixed with the next update.

🎉 Weekend Events

We have seen the requests for more weekend events.

At the moment, the lack of regular weekend events is due to technical constraints. Each event currently requires an update, which makes it difficult to deploy them while development is ongoing.

Work is being done to separate these systems so that weekend events can be offered more easily in the future.

📣 New Players and Communication

Recent changes have focused more on new players, including improvements to the tutorial, research time reductions, and progression multipliers.

The goal is to prepare the game for future communication and advertising.

We have ideas to attract new players and bring back former players, but this will take time to implement properly.

📘 Rules Update

The current rules are also being reviewed.

After some time in use, it has become clear that they are not fully adapted to our needs and must be reworked.

We want the rules to become clearer, more transparent, easier to understand, and better suited to the game.

Until the rework is complete, the current rules will continue to apply.

💬 Conclusion

Thank you for taking the time to read this update.

We know communication has not been good enough recently, and we want to improve that going forward.

Thank you for the trust you continue to place in us after all this time.

We will continue doing our best for Nova Raider and its community.
