Beyond the New Website: What's Next for Nova Raider in August 2026
Following July's new Marketing Website and Hub update, August continues Nova Raider's transformation with Season Kit improvements, loyalty rewards, AI-powered Hub tools, social media expansion, and the next steps for Guild Wars.
NovaRaiderTeam
August continues the work started throughout July.
Last month marked an important step for Nova Raider with the introduction of our new Marketing Website and a main update to the Hub Website. These changes created the foundations we needed to communicate beyond Discord, better showcase the game, welcome new players, and prepare for more active communication around the project.
August 2026 is about building on those foundations.
Everything presented below represents our current objectives for the month rather than guaranteed release dates. Development priorities can change, particularly based on your feedback, but our goal is to complete as much of this roadmap as possible before September.
🎁 Making the Season Kit More Valuable
Season 21 introduced the first weapon skins in Nova Raider, but it also changed how the Season Kit is offered.
We heard your feedback, particularly regarding the limitations of purchasing the Season Kit separately from Stars. We are therefore looking at ways to significantly increase its value without increasing its current price.
Our current plans include:
- -Adding new types of Kits directly inside the Season Kit instead of requiring them to be purchased separately with Stars, making the Season Kit more self-sufficient.
- -Introducing a new skin currency primarily earned through the Season Kit, with smaller amounts available through the Void Shop. With it, you will be able to purchase selected skins from previous Seasons.
- -If you have any further ideas, we look forward to hearing them.
The objective is to make purchasing the Season Kit feel increasingly complete on its own while preserving meaningful long-term cosmetic progression.
💎 A New Loyalty Program
We are also working on a loyalty system for the in-game shop.
Every eligible purchase would reward a dedicated loyalty currency that could later be exchanged for bonuses and exclusive offers.
Potential rewards include:
- -Free Season Kits
- -Exclusive promotions such as 1 Star purchased = 1 Star gifted
- -Skins
- -Additional rewards introduced over time
Importantly, we intend for the system to take your previous support into account. Eligible purchases made since the current shop was introduced in September 2024 are planned to count retroactively.
The system is still being designed, so its exact rewards and balancing may evolve before release.
🎨 Building a Stronger Nova Raider Identity
Now that the new website exists, the next step is making Nova Raider more immediately recognizable.
We are exploring new visual assets and potentially a more modern evolution of the Nova Raider logo and overall visual identity.
This work will gradually be used across:
- -Marketing & Hub Websites
- -Social media
- -Promotional campaigns & communication
- -Potential future video game platforms
This is an important part of preparing Nova Raider for a wider audience and, eventually, its release beyond beta.
📱 Completing The Social Media Integration
The infrastructure built in July will also allow us to begin the next stage of active communication.
During August, we aim to:
- -Apply Nova Raider's updated visual identity across our social platforms.
- -Complete the remaining social media integrations.
- -Begin publishing content more consistently.
- -Launch the Nova Raider Newsletter.
Until recently, much of Nova Raider's communication remained concentrated on Discord. The new website and these integrations are designed to make information about the game accessible much more widely.
🤖 AI Tools Are Coming to the Hub
Technology has been moving incredibly quickly, and we want to take advantage of it where it can genuinely make the community experience better.
We are developing AI-powered features directly inside the Hub.
One of the first applications will be one-click translation for certain community and support content, including Bug Report discussions, Support Tickets, and eventually other areas of the Hub.
These features will use AI Credits.
AI Credits are planned to be obtainable separately and gifted as bonuses with Star purchases. As with the loyalty program, we also intend to recognize eligible purchases made since the introduction of the current shop in 2024.
This is only the beginning of what we may be able to build around these tools to make the experience better around the game.
⚔️ Guild Wars: Preparing the Next Evolution
Toward the end of August, we intend to return our attention to Guild Wars.
Your feedback since the rework has given us a lot to consider, and an additional community survey is planned soon before we decide on the next direction.
One concept currently being explored would combine elements from both generations of the system.
HQ invasions — and potentially Stations — could return as freely accessible activities, supported by a fairer Prestige system rather than reproducing the point mechanics of the original implementation.
The current structured Guild vs Guild system could then evolve toward battles against game-generated mega-HQs, with scalable difficulty designed for groups ranging from approximately 1 to 10 players. The greater the risk, the greater the rewards.
This is not a confirmed design. It is one of the directions currently being considered, and there is still time to influence it.
We especially want to understand which elements of the old system created memorable social interactions, which elements of the current system should remain, and how both could be combined without reintroducing feeding, multi-account abuse, or voluntary point transfers.
💬 About Monetization and Future Content
We have also heard concerns that recent updates may have appeared too focused on paid content.
We understand where that perception comes from, especially while several of our recent visible additions have involved cosmetics and Season-related purchases.
However, this period is not intended to shift Nova Raider toward increasingly paywalled gameplay.
The recent response to our new graphical content has been encouraging, and that support gives us more room to invest directly into new playable content.
One of our priorities moving forward is to use that momentum to fund the creation of new maps, environments and challenges, including both temporary event locations and permanent additions to the game.
Purchasing Stars or a Season Kit therefore remains an important way to support this development, while the playable content itself remains at the center of what we want Nova Raider to become.
🚀 And After August?
Starting in September, our focus will progressively shift back toward in-game development and content updates.
A new Season Skin is already scheduled for September 1, followed by renewed work on new challenges, gameplay content, environments, and both temporary and permanent maps.
We'll publish another development update when the time comes to detail what's next.
Going forward, we're also aiming for at least one Dev Blog every month, giving us a regular place to share what we're working on, explain upcoming decisions, and strengthen communication between you and us.
August is about finishing the foundations. September brings the focus back to the game.
